About the role

We are seeking a full-time Offshore Site Manager to join the team on a long-term and successful project based in Sale,VIC. Our ideal candidate will lead by example and demonstrate a high level of safety and respect for their crews. Your technical knowledge and knowhow coupled with previous experience running successful teams will be critical to your success within the project.   • Work close to home on a Monday – Friday roster, ideal for those residing in and around Sale, VIC or Melbourne CBD.
  • Deliver and maintain high standards of work whilst carrying out the duties of this role in line with the company values to achieve long-term success
  • Mange the execution of all offshore project and maintenance activities in the Bass Strait
  • Deliver the site performance requirements of the contract
  • Provide site leadership and coordinate / manage various multiple discipled offshore teams across a variety of facilities to achieve or exceed the desired site outcomes of the project
  • Deliver effective communication and cooperation with the workforce, unions and other members of the project team and client

About you

  • A minimum of 5 years’ site leadership experience preferably in an Offshore maintenance / industrial projects environment
  • Experienced in management site-based activities for projects and contracts, Offshore experience is highly desirable.
  • Preferably a Trade Qualification in related discipline
  • Sound written communication skills and ability to prepare correspondence, project reports, work packs and instructions to established project standards.
  • Willing to work on a wide range of projects and tasks involving on and off-site work and often irregular hours, including but not limited to; planned offshore site visits (every 6-8 weeks)
  • Sound computer skills, able to use Microsoft Officer suite and software relevant to project management
  • Ability to pass a project specific pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol screen
