About the role

Due to significant growth Altrad are seeking an enthusiastic digital marketing professional to join their in-house marketing team based at our head office in Perth, WA. Reporting to the Marketing & Communication Manager this role will be responsible for providing day-to-day assistance of digital marketing activities as well as actively contributing to the overarching marketing strategy.

The successful candidate will be responsible for (but not limited to); -

  • Contributing to and assisting in executing marketing initiatives and campaigns.
  • Developing and publishing engaging copy and content across our social media channels and our website.
  • Supporting the business with graphic design work and digital assets, while ensuring consistent application of the Altrad brand.
  • Developing marketing materials for Altrad’s business units (capability statements, flyers, presentations, merchandise etc).
  • Developing and administering Electronic Direct Mail (EDMs).
  • Working with other departments to source stories and create engaging content for our monthly internal newsletter.
  • Administering and optimising SEO, SEM, AdWords, Facebook Ads initiatives etc.
  • Maintaining professional relationships with various internal and external stakeholders.
  • Providing support to the Marketing & Communications Manager and the marketing department.
  • Providing support in the coordination of events, bookings, partnerships and liaising with third parties as needed.
  • Demonstrate a willingness and capability to perform other duties as deemed appropriate and consistent with your professional qualifications, skill or experience.

About you

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in an appropriate digital marketing, media arts, or related discipline.
  • 5 years experience in a similar role working for a medium to large company.
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with a wide range of people.
  • Excellent computer skills including strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint) and advanced knowledge of the Adobe Creative suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator).
  • Photography/videography skills (desirable, not mandatory).
  • Proficient with WordPress (desirable, not mandatory).
  • Self-Motivated with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to think outside the box to provide solutions when obstacles are thrown your way.
  • Strong ability to prioritise your workload, utilising effective time management skills.
