About the role

New opportunity waits for an experienced Trainer/Assessor to facilitate, assess, and develop training products for the Altrad Skills Training Department and its clients based in Jandakot on a casual basis.

Reporting to the Training Manager, the successful candidate will provide on-site vocational and training support for shutdowns, emerging work and proficiency coaching while consulting with Altrad Management, clients and Industry bodies on training and assessment matters. In addition, you will also be responsible for but no limited to; -

  • Provide training and assessment services as scheduled by the Altrad Training Centre
  • Participate in audits as required
  • Undertake compliance-related duties related to the delivery of training and assessment
  • Communicate any emerging training needs to relevant stakeholders
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities around courseware development and facilitation of training services
  • Provide on-site coaching and support as required
  • Inspection and Maintenance of training facility, tools, and equipment
  • Demonstrate a willingness and capability to perform other duties as deemed appropriate and consistent with your professional qualifications, skill, or experience

About you

  • Minimum of 5 years’ vocational experience in the Resources and associated sectors
  • Certificate IV TAE40116 or equivalent is mandatory
  • Worksafe High Risk Work License Assessor is desirable for the role such as Rigging, Scaffolding & Dogging
  • Experience in the delivery of training programs for the following candidates - desirable
    • HRWL
    • Painting & Blast
    • High Pressure Water Jetting
    • Vacuum Truck Loading System
  • High level of knowledge of the Australian qualification framework and training requirements in the resources, mining, and construction industries
  • Accustomed to a busy fast paced and ever-changing environment
  • Proven high level of facilitation and interpersonal skills
