Our multidisciplinary service offering includes the traditional services of scaffolding, rope access, insulation, protective coatings & blasting and passive fire protection as well as specialist services such as refractory, asbestos management, and advanced industrial cleaning and vaccumation of heat exchangers, pipes, tanks and vessels using high pressure water and chemicals.

The Project

The Tronox operated Cooljarloo Mine is located 170kms North of Perth in Western Australia. Cape Australia provides ongoing industrial support, which will service maintenance operations.

The Role and Requirements

We are seeking applications from suitably experienced Advanced Scaffolders to assist with shut down works at the Tronox operated Cooljarloo Mine. These positions will be in a drive in capacity with accommodation provided at a purpose built camp. Approximate shut down dates are 9/09 to 13/09/19.

To be considered you will need to demonstrate the following:

  • Minimum 3-5 years’ proven experience as an Advanced Scaffolders in a heavy maintenance environment
  • Valid High Risk Work Licence ideally with an SA classification
  • Valid nationally accredited Working at Heights & Confined Space Entry qualifications (within 3 years)
  • Hold a nationally accredited OHS Card (White/Blue Card)
  • Ability to pass a project specific pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol screen
  • You will need to be available for pre-employment requirements before the above shut down dates
