Our multidisciplinary service offering includes the traditional services of scaffolding, rope access, insulation, protective coatings & blasting and passive fire protection as well as specialist services such as refractory, asbestos management, and advanced industrial cleaning and vaccumation of heat exchangers, pipes, tanks and vessels using high pressure water and chemicals.

Cape are currently seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join the team at our Jandakot facility as a part of an integration project and bringing the sister company assets across to the main operating company. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for identifying the nature and extent of activities being performed across various departments while providing recommendations for improvements.

This role will be working full-time, Monday to Friday on a fixed-term basis of 3 months.

Your key responsiblities will include:

  • End to end review of the plant department, identifying the activities and who performs each activity
  • Identify the recipients of the outputs generated by the department
  • Identify the key internal and external stakeholders and reporting expectations
  • Review current onshore and offshore processes, identify actions working well and provide recommendation for improvement
  • Identify the optimal resourcing level suitable for an effective department to run efficiently
  • Identify KPIs for each area of responsibility that are easy to measure and easy to report each month
  • Delivery a report at the end of assignment that captures the above items

To be considered for the role you must meet the below criteria:

  • 5+ minimum years’ experience in development and implementation of processes and procedures
  • Background in mining, oil and gas sector ideally in a contractor environment
  • Job Costing and Pronto ERP experience
  • Ability to comprehensibly understand the business’ operation and strategic direction
  • Proven ability to build networks and manage relationships
  • Ability to work with diversity and varying demands
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to work with colleagues in other states and overseas
