  • Refinery shutdown scheduled from the 25th August to 14th September
  • Must be available to mobilise to site as early as the 22nd August
  • 12 hour shifts – day and night shift available

Our multidisciplinary service offering includes the traditional services of scaffolding, rope access, insulation, protective coatings & blasting and passive fire protection as well as specialist services such as refractory, asbestos management, and advanced industrial cleaning and vaccumation of heat exchangers, pipes, tanks and vessels using high pressure water and chemicals.

The Project

The BHP operated Olympic Dam mine is located 560kms north of Adelaide and is one of the world’s largest and most diverse ore bodies, including copper, gold, uranium and silver. Olympic Dam operates a fully integrated processing facility from ore to metal.

The Role and Requirements

We are seeking experienced and qualified Scaffolders (Advanced & Intermediate) to join our shutdown team from the 22nd August 2019. This position will be in a fly in, fly out capacity with accommodation provided at a purpose-built camp.

To be considered you will need to demonstrate the following:

  • Minimum 2 years’ proven experience with tube & clip and kwikstage scaffold systems
  • Previous experience within the mining & resources industry
  • Valid nationally recognized High Risk Work Licence
  • Current Working at Heights and Confined Space Entry (issued within 4 years)
  • Hold a nationally accredited OHS Card (White/Blue Card)
  • Ability to pass a project specific pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol screen
