Through our highly skilled workforce, formerly known as Cape Australia and Hertel Modern, we deliver specialist protective coatings, industrial cleaning, insulation, asbestos management, access solutions and training.

The Position

  • Altrad services is the sole provider of Access for BHPIO Northwest projects in Western Australia. Altrad Services were awarded a 3 year contract in October 2018. These works will consist of regular shutdowns across 5 inland and 2 Port Operations in Northwest Western Australia. Shutdowns vary in duration between 3 and 22 days, and are of a regular nature. Ongoing works at Port facilities for those who hold current MSIC qualifications.
  • We are seeking Expressions of Interest from suitably experienced and qualified Scaffolders (Advanced & Intermediate) for upcoming major shutdowns on our Projects in Western Australia. We are ramping up our projects going forward into our contract with BHP for the next 2+ years.
  • These positions will be offered on a fly in, fly out basis from with accommodation provided at purpose-built camps.
  • Must reside locally in Perth or Surrounds, or local in Port Hedland or Newman
  • Must be available to undertake site specific training assessment prior

Mandatory requirements

  • Minimum 12 months proven Scaffolding experience
  • Previous experience within a mining & minerals maintenance environment is essential
  • Valid nationally recognized High-Risk Work License
  • Current Working at Heights (less than 3 years old)
  • Current Confined Space (less than 3 years old)
  • Current Gas Testing atmosphere certificate (less than 4 years old)
  • Current and Valid HR Licence is desirable
  • Ability to pass a project specific pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol screen
